Blessing at the Bar hosts regular live workshops that gives you the opportunity to learn the essential knowledge and skills needed on the Bar course through group learning. The online study and revision barrister workshops cover common questions and concerns. They also provide tactics and strategy for all your Bar studies.

BATB Workshops

Our workshops have been designed to assist you on the BTC and develop your knowledge of core Bar course content. We also provide you with a strategy to assist in passing exams, especially civil and criminal litigation. Having successfully completed the Bar Course, workshop organisers @Blessing Mukosha and Olivia Walton understand that it is not only the core modules such as criminal and civil litigation or skill modules such as opinion writing and drafting that cause students concern. Therefore, BATB also offers a Bar Course Study Skills online workshop. This workshop provides tips on organisation and time management, stress and procrastination and apps for productivity. At Blessing at the Bar, we believe that health and wellbeing is a major part of success at the Bar.

Our workshops deliver tools to assist in alleviating pressure! Workshops are recorded, so your purchase will give you access to on demand resources for life. To keep up to date on upcoming workshops, follow us on eventbrite and @blessingatthebar on instagram.

Legal Skills

At Blessing at the Bar, we care about the whole package! Advocacy competitions are essential for aspiring barristers to improve advocacy skills and present themselves as competitive applicants for chambers. As a result, we provide a workshop on “How to make the perfect paper bundle for advocacy competitions”. Here we explain and show you how to put together the perfect bundle and use it to enhance your oral submissions in competitions and future practice.

We also provide much demanded resources on pupillage research planning and strategy to help aspiring barristers organise their pupillage research and answers, so they operate from a place of confidence and self-belief.

Barrister Workshops

BATB workshops have special guest features from Barristers. You are guaranteed information from individuals who have successfully completed the BTC, and those who are pupils or practising barristers. Hence, the workshops delivered to you are from people that have been in your position and understand exactly what it takes to become a barrister. For example, Blessing delivers our criminal litigation revision workshop alongside Aqsa Hussain, a Barrister at No5 Barristers Chambers.
